Theology of Technology: Babel & Golem

The Dominion Mandate, the Babel Limit and the Golem Rule.

  1. Dominion Mandate (Genesis 1:28): Technology (TECHNE) is a legitimate instrument for subduing the earth under God’s law.
  2. The Babel Trap: Deploying technology for human self-deification, centralized tyranny, or independence from God breaches the Babel Limit and triggers systemic judgment.
  3. The Golem Rule (AI Doctrine): AI is a “Golem”—silicon syntax without semantics, conscience, or a living soul. AI executes tasks (TECHNE), but never dictates truth (LOGOS) or replaces human covenant (ARCHAI).
